When it Rains it Poors Cakes!

This has been a very busy month for me. I got to make several birthday cakes for little girls this month. The cake below is for a girl who turned 4 yesterday. She loves ponies. It was fun doing a themed cake.

What do you do when you have 6 colors of leftover frosting? Tie Dye Cupcakes!

I love this Rosette cake. This was Katy's idea and it was sooooo easy. Probably my new favorite! You can't see it well, but they are sprayed with pearl spray. Beautiful!

The purple cake is for Gemma who turned 1. Can't wait to see her dig in!

This cake was sooooo yummy!  It was a triple chocolate fudge cake filled with peanut butter mousse. happy birthday Troy!

This cake was ordered for a sweet sixteenth birthday.  I was pretty much given free reign on this which is fun but also makes me nervous.  Her favorite colors are green and blue.  I hope she likes it!

I had serious trouble with the flower! The wire kept poking through the fondant, so I ended up with big ugly circles in the middle. Arrg!

More and More Cakes

This was a quick cake I made for CeCe who was just recently adopted into the family.
Brigham's 8th birthday cake. He got a bunch of wrestling stuff so I thought I would do a wrestling cake.

Wedding Cakes

I got to make two sheet cakes for a wedding and was told to do what I want (which I love) so I made one a white cake and one a chocolate. I made 108 blossoms and painted them with a shimmer dust which I thought turned out really pretty!

I'm kinda bummed because a few days later I had to make two more sheets cakes for a blue and gold banquet and I forgot to take a picture. The whole entire tops of the cakes were piped with an alternating blue and gold shell design. It was cool. In each corner I added a pick with streamers coming out. One cake was very chocolately filled with fudge and the other white with buttercream icing. They were so good!

Love for Sadie Benefit Auction Cake

This cake turned out very nice. I couldn't have been happier! It was made with lots of love so it was probably very good too. My mom's teacher Liz bought it (which makes me happy I did white cake rather than chocolate) and got to enjoy it. Thankyou Liz!

Chance's 1st Birthday Cake

This cake was a candy land themed cake. It was my most favorite one to make of all of them. It was LOADED with candy. The inside of the cake changed colors throughout. Blue, green, orange, yellow, and purple. It was awesomely delicious!

Oodles of Pics

This cake was so big that it was hard to take pictures without missing any details.

I loved princess frostine's corner. It was fun to make. I filled the cones with cottoncandy rather than frosting.
